Collaboration, Resilience and Breadth: FSG and Rolls-Royce continue to enhance their relationship

Forged Solutions Group (FSG), a manufacturer of high integrity forgings for the world’s most demanding applications based in the UK, has agreed to the long-term supply of a critical rotating disc for commercial and defence engine applications with Rolls-Royce. The agreement also provides FSG with an increasing share of engine shafts to support the Rolls-Royce fleet of engines – namely the Trent programmes.

FSG and Rolls-Royce are also in the final stages of agreeing an extension and expansion of a long-term agreement to supply rings across the full Rolls-Royce product life cycle, which is testament to the broad range of FSG’s capabilities. Several FSG UK locations are involved in the manufacture of these aerospace discs, shafts and rings including facilities in Sheffield, Matlock and Blaenavon.

In recognition of this partnership at the FSG stand during the Farnborough Airshow, Robbie Kelham, Vice President – Strategic Procurement of Rolls-Royce stated “We are really glad to continue expanding our relationship and collaboration with FSG which will support our latest products as well as giving us security of supply on a number of our legacy programmes.”
