Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Forged Solutions Group continue their collaboration in support of the Rolls Royce fleet beyond 2030

Forged Solutions Group (FSG), a manufacturer of high integrity forgings for the world’s most demanding applications, has agreed to extend a multi-year supply agreement with Kawasaki Heavy Industries. The agreement secures a continuous capability and capacity for Kawasaki Heavy Industries to receive forgings for their aero-engine products into the next decade.

Under the contract, FSG, will manufacture a number of forging commodities but specifically rings and cases to support most of the Rolls-Royce Trent aero engine products including the Trent 700, Trent 1000, Trent 7000 and all Trent XWB platforms.

This agreement expands and strengthens the longstanding business relationship between KHI and FSG, as emphasized by Ben McIvor, President of FSG: ‘We are pleased to continue our collaboration with Kawasaki Heavy Industries. The extension of this contract underscores the partnership between our companies and is a testament to the trust in the quality of our products and the fantastic expertise of our collective teams.’

Whilst marking the occasion at the KHI facility in Sayuri Nasuno, Senior Manager at KHI stated ‘We are so pleased to continue our long-standing business relationship with FSG.
