Closed Die Aluminium Forgings

Equipment:

  • 14 hydraulic presses: 6,000T, 5,000T, 3,500T, 2,500T, 2,000T, 1,000T (x7), 400T and 350T
  • Milling and CNC Horizontal machines plus CNC Turning Lathe

Closed Die Conventional Forgings

  • Aluminum forgings up to 350 square inches
    • And larger depending on the configuration
  • All Surfaces are made with 3 to 5 degrees draft
  • Maximum Net Weight: 250 lbs

Closed Die Precision Forgings:

  • External Surfaces made with 0-degree draft
  • Internal Surfaces made with 1 degree draft
  • Typical tolerance: +.020”/-.010”
  • Typical mold line contours: +/- .015”
  • Plan view area: up to 250 in2
    • Can be larger depending on configuration

Impact Extrusions

  • Internal/External Surfaces made with 0-degree draft
  • Forward Extrusions:
    • Up to 30” in length
    • Up to 12” diameter
  • Backward Extrusions:
    • Up to 22” in length
    • Up to 16.5” diameter

Open Die Forgings

  • Aluminium hand forged block up to 250 pounds
  • Can go heavier depending on alloy and configuration
