Main Purpose of Job:
Responsible for all operational aspects of the machine shop having accountability for the EHS, Budgets and financial targets. You will focus much of your attention on ensuring that your Direct Reports deliver your requirements for the above. Job Summary
To provide administrative support for the Logistics Department and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed correctly before products are sent for despatch. Key Objectives of the Role:
• Organising Transport for Export (EU & Rest of world) and arranging special transport & paperwork for various customers

Job Purpose

Main Purpose of Job:
The maintenance administrator is responsible for the overall control of purchasing (including quotes, requisitions and receipting) spend forecast, budget analysis and general day-to-day administration duties for the maintenance departments at the Meadowhall and River Don FSG sites. Job Summary
The responsibilities of this role are to machine test pieces to very tight tolerances in line with customer and specification requirements / drawings. The test pieces are produced to various different types of test using multiple machining processes. These test pieces are then destructively tested or examined Metallurgically to ascertain if the batch is acceptable to release to the customer.

Main Purpose of the Role
Machining radius and pre- form onto billets to specified drawings, the Cell consists of 2 x CNC machines that need to be run in parallel. It is a fast-moving operation which receives material from our Saw department and delivers to the Forge (It is vital to have good communication with both departments to plan workload and optimise utilisation of the cell). Design Engineer BFL Blaenavon South Wales Monday – Thursday 08:00-16:30 Friday – 08:00-13:00

We are currently seeking an experienced Design Engineer at our Blaenavon facility. Working as part of the Technical team, the successful candidate will be involved in the design of the production route for manufacturing of forged products – managing the process from concept through to Customer approval.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
• Effective design and implementation of products into the manufacturing process
• Design of dies, tools and relevant ancillary fixtures for manufacturing of products
• Creation and interpretation of engineering drawings
• Maintain drawing office procedures (relevant to BS8888)
• Ability to create and utilise CAD models (within Siemens NX)
• Utilise FEA simulation software for product design
• Technical liaison with suppliers for relevant product design requirements (i.e., tooling, forge dies, etc.)
• Customer technical liaison (where necessary)
• Provide design support for new product enquiries at the estimating stage (e.g., proposed inputs, equipment, and methods).
• Support new product and product changes dimensional assessment and MSA requirements

Essential Experience and Qualifications
• Undergraduate in an Engineering Discipline, BTEC (or relevant aligned qualifications) with supporting experience and qualifications (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)
• Previous manufacturing design experience working within a business that produces precision engineered products, in a highly regulated industry, preferably from the Aerospace or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Understanding of hot metal forging processes and associated manufacturing methods
• Experience common design software and simulation software
• Problem solving and project management skills

The Key Account Manager will support the commercial team in a high growth, dynamic, and exciting environment. As Environmental Health and Safety Manager, you are responsible for all HS&E aspects of the business including the EHS culture, objectives, policies, procedures and monitoring systems. This is a technical and managerial position which requires a comprehensive knowledge of UK EHS laws and regulations. NDT Inspector Blaenavon 37 Hours per Week (Morning Shift)

We are currently seeking two NDT Inspectors to join our Inspection team in Blaenavon. The role will involve using various techniques including FPI, Etch and UST to inspect products to ensure conformity to customer specification. The successful applicants will work on a morning shift only.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
• Inspection, evaluation and sentencing of product in line with customer specifications.
• To perform in process quality checks ensuring product / equipment comply with the relevant customer specifications and audit checklists.
• To perform non-destructive inspections on all components as identified by the MoM or customer specification.
• To record, organise and evaluate test results and generate inspections report.
• Responsible for general administration and upkeep of departmental documentation including completing/updating all in process documentation and systems e.g. EFACs
• Preparation of parts for penetrant inspection in line with relevant procedures.
• To support and participate in audits.
• Working with all departments to ensure the overall product/process quality is of the highest standard.
• Highlight any non-conformances to Quality/Technical Department and actively contribute to the overall quality of the product and associated processes.
• Understanding the materials to be tested, how they are manufactured and the impact on the end product.

The successful candidates will have the following skills/experience:
• Level 2 certification in line with SNT-TC-1A or EN4179
• Ability to interpret information such as standard operating procedures, customer specifications and MoM.
• Must have an engineering qualification, ideally to a minimum of HNC or equivalent or demonstrable experience performing a similar role from within the automotive, steel manufacturing or aeronautical industry.
• Computer Literate
• Experience of NDT i.e. penetrant testing methods, ultrasonic testing methods & acid etching techniques would be highly advantageous.

Furnace Technician Blaenavon South Wales 37 hours/week Possible shifts

We are currently seeking a Furnace Technician to join our Maintenance Team in Blaenavon. Reporting into the Electrical Engineer, the successful candidate will support Operations in achieving maximum uptime, reliability, efficiency and safety of all furnace equipment and carry out furnace surveys, calibrations, PPM’s of furnaces & general checks to ensure equipment is fit for purpose.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
• To support production activities at all times by ensuring minimum response times to equipment breakdown.
• Respond as necessary to operational priorities seeking clarity from Operations or Maintenance Management where necessary.
• Execute tasks in line with Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule, ensuring work is carried out in compliance within all statutory Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and in accordance with internal risk assessments.
• Undertake effective fault finding and rectification of plant and equipment failures to include the effective Root Cause analysis and the implementation of both short term and long term corrective actions.
• Identification and introduction of improvements in conjunction with other departments to support equipment reliability and operation.
• To work alongside sub-contractors as required and take the lead in such circumstances.
• Assist in Installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment.
• Fully utilise the Pirana CMMS.

Essential Experience / Qualifications
• Formally trained through an engineering apprenticeship, preferably to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
