Main Purpose of Job:
The FR Group Mechanical Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support to achieve KPI target levels of plant availability and performance at the Meadowhall, River Don and Provincial Park FR sites. The key responsibilities of this role are to actively take part in and (and on occasion) lead the Engineering Team in areas such as PPM, TPM, Continuous Improvement (CI) Initiatives, Training and Housekeeping. Other key tasks of the role include completing scheduled engineering tasks, breakdown repairs, all these tasks are to be carried out and completed within a specified time frame, thus minimising any disruptions whilst maximising uptime of operational equipment.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
 Ensure all Engineering Breakdowns (irrespective of priority) are identified and subsequently rectified as quickly as possible.
 Provide a supporting role to the introduction of PPM, TPM and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives across all FR Sites.
 Have the delegated authority of the FR Group Engineering Team Leader in his Absence.
 In the event of no first line management presence, responsible for making sound Engineering decisions in line with business requirements and escalate to Senior Management if required.
 Responsible for maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping (within specified areas) and to embrace the 5S initiative program on a daily basis.

NDT Inspector Blaenavon 37 Hours per Week (Morning Shift)

We are currently seeking an NDT Inspector to join our Inspection team in Blaenavon. The role will involve using various techniques including FPI, Etch and UST to inspect products to ensure conformity to customer specification. The successful applicants will work on a morning shift only.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
• Inspection, evaluation and sentencing of product in line with customer specifications.
• To perform in process quality checks ensuring product / equipment comply with the relevant customer specifications and audit checklists.

CMM Operator Blaenavon 3 Shifts – Mornings, Nights & Afternoons

We are currently seeking a CMM Operator to join our busy Inspection team at our Blaenavon facility. Working on a three-shift rota, the successful candidate will inspect product to ensure conformity to customer specification using a range of techniques including CMM.

• Perform manual and visual inspection checks as necessary on the product, in line with the MoM to ensure product conforming.

We are currently seeking two Forge Auxiliaries to join our Closed Die Forge in Blaenavon; to work as part of a team to process parts through the Forge in line with customer specification that meets the key KPI’s with respect to quality, cost, delivery and H&S.
